Online Brokerage Companies

(Also, Anfield Nickel and Magellan Minerals)

Here are some thoughts about online brokerage companies... In my view Interactive Brokers provides perhaps the best platform, for just about everything. They trade on almost any exchange you can imagine. They even provide you one free wire each month. If you want to transfer certain positions out of them, you pay nothing to IB, something unique in the industry. Contrary to claims, I have found their services excellent. The downside is that if you want to trade Canadian penny stocks in large quantity, they might become expensive. For Canadian penny stocks, try TD Direct Investing.

Now on one merger currently in progress…

Anfield Nickel (ANF.V) is acquiring Magellan Minerals (MNM.V). To me, ANF at $0.75 or MNM at $0.065 make sense to buy at. The meeting for merger decision is on 28 April 2016. If all goes through well, this will create a merged entity that will have some large capital equipment to put the project into production. Also, the entity will be run by Ross Beatty’s group. It is indeed worth noting that the project is in Brazil, which is a difficult jurisdiction and is currently facing social problems.

Here is a link to an audio interview in which I discuss my thoughts from PDAC and my investing strategy in resource companies.

I will be speaking at Mining Investment Asia (Singapore) and European Gold Forum (Zurich). In all these talks, I will address directly or indirectly whether India is the next China.

Warm regards,
